Funding for the Reindancer Therapeutic Riding Center provides care for seven rescued horses, as well as employment opportunities for local riding and therapeutic instructors. Our program is expensive to run. The horses that are rescued have their own special needs. We give them the best care possible.
Basic Care - minimum costs to keep a horse:
- shoes - $80/every six weeks
- deworm - $8/every six weeks
- vaccinations - Spring & Fall $150/ea.
- food -(hay $100/mo., grain $50/mo. carrots $10/mo.)
Because we are a non-profit organization, we also need your help caring for the horses.
We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with the following:
- cleaning stalls & paddocks
- grooming horses
- assistants to help with group programs & classes
By becoming a volunteer, you receive the satisfaction of helping to provide these rescued horses with a safe and secure environment. Please help, become a volunteer today. Call us at (609) 752-0900.
